The theme of communication in the healthcare sector has, in recent years, taken a key importance. Communicating is a job, but the communicative event itself is not framed.
This assumption should be kept better present in our work, where correct transmission and reception of information necessarily affect the quality of the assistance provided and the safety we must guarantee to patients.
This congress aims to show – without the claim to be exhaustive – how to implement communicative-relational skills among healthcare professionals, considering it as a necessary professional competence, especially now that multidisciplinary teams such as the Heart Team are taking the lead.
