Dr. Gabriele Via, head of the Anesthesia and Intensive Care service, was awarded the 2024 “Honorary Fellow Award” by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), a recognition – as stated in the reasons for the award – for “exemplary and illustrious career in the field of medical ultrasound.”
The award ceremony was held on April 9th in Austin, Texas, at the gala evening of the annual AIUM conference, which awarded Dr. Via a lifetime membership in the prestigious American scientific society as an “international leader who has contributed to extraordinary way to the growth and development of medical ultrasound on a global level”.
The Management expresses heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Via for his prestigious professional achievement and gratitude for his important contribution to the quality of care and the international fame of the Istituto Cardiocentro Ticino.
